SYRACUSE, NY - November 16, 2007 - Network Security Associates Inc announces an agreement with North Medical, PC, to update infrastructure, train employees and manage the rollout of Allscripts’ Practice Management and Electronic Health Record system - TouchWorks™ - at North Medical’s North and Northeast Medical Centers in Central New York. NSA experts will implement Allscripts’ TouchWorks system - which includes a personal health record, disease management and clinical trials capabilities - for North Medical, PC.

With this agreement NSA further solidifies its place in the market as a leader in network security consulting, design, implementation and service by bringing together North Medical, PC, and Allscripts’ TouchWorks, thereby allowing North Medical to enhance their services to patients and providers.

Bill Abrams will serve as Project Liaison. Drawing on his expertise in the fields of information technology and medical practice management, Mr. Abrams will analyze North Medical’s work flow and automation needs then design and manage the use of their business and clinical systems for maximum efficiency, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning and policy development. In collaboration with Allscripts, NSA will design and implement an ongoing training plan for North Medical’s staff. NSA will also serve as advocate and interface for North Medical with vendors during design, implementation, rollout, and beyond.

David Kerrigan, Senior Technical Partner with NSA and designer of the one of the largest private WAN’s in New York State, will serve as Information Infrastructure Architect: designing and implementing a scalable, efficient, cost effective and secure infrastructure to support the emerging business and clinical requirements of North Medical. Mr. Kerrigan will not only address the Allscripts Practice Management and Electronic Health Record systems, but also Radiology, enterprise email, malware, disaster recovery, Ethernet and IP structure.

Christopher Daly, Technical Project Manager with NSA, will manage the implementation of the new physical infrastructure of the project. This will include microwave connectivity between the medical centers located in the North and East suburbs of Syracuse, NY and services used by the 65+ healthcare providers located within those locations, such as a high speed fiber network, new server room and wireless tablet accessibility.

Daniel McCann, Senior Programmer with NSA, will develop the conversion software to transfer North Medical’s current data from their existing system into Allscripts’ format.
